Please join us for the performance piece - Conversations With Aidron - By J. Turk. Using the compositional structure of Aidron’s figurative abstractions as both inspiration and conceptual frame, J. Turk constructs a new work of confessional poetry that explores personal and cultural memory. Through close examination of archival works, Turk creates imagined dialogue between them and Aidron’s figures. Transparent Bodies explores the relationship between artist and author, body and archive, ultimately asking questions of identity, language, and the translation of materiality.
