Join artist and meditation teacher Julie Püttgen for a Mother's Day weekend dive into the joyful/healing/freeing power of the expressive arts. We'll work with sound, movement, mark-making, and writing to explore what is innately, wise, strong, nurturing, and whole in each of us.
No experience necessary. All abilities. Ages 12 and up are welcome. Donation based workshop ($10 recommendation).
Bio: Julie Püttgen, MFA, is an artist and a meditation teacher, which turn out not to be such different things. Both rely on the ability to trust in the moment, and to let go of what ought to be, in favor of what is. She has taught and exhibited widely, including at Dartmouth College, the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies, and AVA; and is currently in training in the MA Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Goddard College, with a concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy.
